Client Introduction
When a Vistage Chairperson from St. Louis was trying to find someone to help one of the members, MarketTech was contacted to help roll up their sleeves and and solve some problems.  Since Ceramo is the last US owned manufacturer of red clay pots in the U.S.A., there was some additional grant funding available for a competitive edge.  We did some in depth analysis and then wound up applying almost the entire C.L.A.I.M. Process to solve the issues.  It was a real "hands-on" project that is still netting results.

Client Testimonial

"I have personally recommended Diana and MarketTech to several of my peers that are CEO's of small to mid-sized companies. She really understands how business works and focuses on the end goal of revenue generation.  She has helped Ceramo gain a distinct competitive edge with our branding, the growth of our employees, managing our customers and selling more.  Diana rolls up her sleeves and does what it takes to meet our objectives.  We have gone from 2372 customers to almost 10,000 in less than 3 years.  Our average sale has increased by 65% per order.  Bottom line - MarketTech utilizes the C.L.A.I.M. process to help us reach success and I am glad they are on the Ceramo Team."

Project Introduction

Though this project is still ongoing, most of these items were accomplished within the first 6 months concurrently.  C.L.A.I.M. is a continual process and once the groundwork is in place, the program initiated and adjustments made, the results will continue to build upon themselves over time.  We are in the process of training the staff on our program so they can take it over and we can simply "monitor and coach" so the costs will be reduced while the results continue to build and grow. We are in our 3rd year working with Ceramo and have seen tremendous results.

This year, we are developing inside/outside sales teams and breaking into new territories.  We have unrolled a new compensation plan for the reps to drive a $6M increase in revenue.  We also negotiated a Master Distributor agreement with a German pottery manufacturer that will dramatically affect inventory cash flow, market penetration and the competitive market.

Project Build
  • Created, trained and managed a new "inside sales team" where, for over 60 years, there were only independent manufacturers reps to control the sales process (including building a results-based compensation program and quarterly reviews)
  • Brought up a new e-commerce website using Volusion as a back end which included a customized CRM program and reporting
  • Built a new, improved identity in marketing collateral and theie annual catalog (108 pages 4-Color)
  • Worked several industry shows and trained reps on how to maximize the opportunity of shows
  • Adjusted internal operational staff and created Position Results Descriptions with key result areas as job descriptions
  • Documented and corrected operational and sales processes to place in the new company handbook
  • Created several industry ads and public relations articles/releases to increase market visibility
  • Brought on a new CFO / COO, a new Marketing Director and Customer Service Manager
  • Assited CEO in designing several key presentations, plans and critical communications
  • Did all this in under 1 year for under $75,000
